The Top 21 Posts of 2021

admin

Hi friend!  How’s your start to the new year going?  I’ve officially packed up Christmas and the kids are back to school today, so I guess you could say, the party’s over.

Or, maybe it’s just beginning with a fresh start.  That sounds like a better way to look at it, but I’m still a little sad that the holidays are over.  Thankfully, they’ll come around again!

THE TOP 21 POSTS OF 2021

I love looking back and seeing what we’ve done in the last year.   I’m so grateful for each and every one of you that takes time out of your busy day to spend it with me. Y’all are simply the best and always so encouraging and thoughtful.  Even if you just stop by and never comment, I see you and thank you for being here!

It’s always interesting to me to see what kinds of posts resonated most with you and were the most popular of the year.  I looked at my Google Analytics to see what the most viewed posts of 21 were and came up with this list!  I put them in order of most popular, but there’s something from every category- fashion, fitness, and home decor.

Amazon Fashion Faves

Amazon fashion posts have continued to be the favorite of the bunch, and that’s why I do two a month, generally every other Friday.  It still amazes me that after years of sharing Amazon outfits, I can still find new things to share with you.  Some things aren’t recommendation worthy, so I skip those, but lots of things are keepers and in my own everyday wardrobe!

DressSandalsBag

This post from March 22, 2021 was the top Amazon fashion post of the year.  Our Spring Break was just ending, and the post had lots of Spring dresses, shorts & jeans outfits, plus swimsuits and coverups.

Tuesday Goodies

In 2020, I started a weekly series on Stories and where I share things I find useful in my day-to-day life. It’s nothing extravagant, just little things that make life a bit sweeter.  Hence the title! 😉

I share these “goodies” on Stories every Tuesday, so you can catch them live there. They’re also saved on my blog here, so you can reference them every week.

You can catch the next one live on my Stories today!

How to Organize Everything in Your Kitchen

I’ve been minimizing over the past couple of years and really need to give y’all a new look inside.  The contents of my drawers and cabinets have been reduced even further and it’s given me so much more breathing room – mentally and physically.  Here, I show you how I’ve organized everything in my kitchen.

It wouldn’t be the start of the year without some healthy meal prep ideas.  I’ll be sharing my new year fitness challenge with you next week, but in the meantime, this healthy meal prep post was a hit with y’all.

How I Organize My Master Closet

My love of organizing continues and here I’m sharing my master closet.  Don’t tell anyone, but I’ve also been daydreaming about becoming a professional organizer.  I’m not sure that will ever happen, but organizing makes me so happy and most of my home is streamlined, so I’d love to start helping others organize their spaces!

Q&A Monday

Amazon Capsule Wardrobe

I’ve been wanting to do another one of these capsule wardrobe posts.  Even though I love to get dressed up, when I’m working at home, I tend to gravitate toward the same few outfits anyway.  I’m thinking of documenting what I actually wear for a period of time and sharing that with you.  Would you enjoy that?

Help Me Pack for NYC

Brian and I went to NYC for his birthday in September.  He was already there for work, so I joined him and we spent two days walking, eating, sightseeing and did I mention eating?!  This post has what I packed and below is our trip recap.

How to Meal Prep for the Week

I still meal prep every week, especially when I’m trying to eat extra healthy.  It saves so much time in the long run, not to mention all that mental energy we spend wondering what we’re going to eat next.  Of course you’ve had that never ending loop conversation with your partner, “what do you want to eat for dinner?” “I don’t know, what do you want?”

Healthy Tex Mex Burrito Bowl

I haven’t made this in awhile and now I’m craving it! Putting the ingredients into my Walmart+ membership app now!

Old Navy Style

Have you checked out Old Navy lately?  I don’t shop there that often, but when I do, I love to share what I found.
