Hi friend! Welcome to a brand new week! We had a heck of a weekend, kicking it off with a date night Thursday, celebrating Ali-Shaun’s birthday on Friday, two of my good friends were in town staying with me, we had my daughter’s baseball game and my son’s championship track meet, plus my nephew’s birthday party!
We are so proud of our school’s track team. Both the boys’ and girls’ took home the championship trophy! The kids worked their tails off this season and are thrilled with the victory!
The end of April and May seem like the busiest months getting ready for the school year to wrap up, am I right?!
If you haven’t been following me on Instagram Stories, you’re missing out on a fun series I’ve been doing there every Tuesday called “Tuesday Goodies.”
Some of my friends say they look forward to it every week and have had success with the things I share there.
These are things I find useful in my day-to-day life, and you might too. It’s nothing extravagant, just little things that make life a bit sweeter. I share these “goodies” on Stories every Tuesday, so you can catch them live there.
TUESDAY GOODIES # 123
Packing Cubes | These come in a set of 7, you get 4 larger zipper/mesh cubes, plus a cinch close laundry tote, zipper shoe bag, and toiletry bag. I’m crazy for the soft neutral here, a sophisticated light tan. I never pack without cubes – they help you fit more in your suitcase and they keep everything organized.
Rattan Coasters | How darling are these rattan coasters with scallop edges? Perfect with your Spring and Summer decor.
Hand Fan | For hot backseats, ball games, and between skincare applications, this handheld fan packs a big breeze with two speeds! It’s easy to throw in your bag since it’s about the size of your phone and it comes with a wristlet. You recharge it via USB.
Skin Towels | This is a new product I’m obsessed with. These towelettes are meant for drying your face as opposed to using your bath towel that likely isn’t washed between uses.
The bacteria on your towel transfers to your face, so it can be preferable to use one of these compostable towelettes instead. I also like them for removing makeup and face masks.
Also, when I’m done washing and drying my face with the towelette, I can use it to wipe up all the water that splashed on my counter and inside my sink!
Acrylic Stand | I wanted something that would be functional for extra storage, but wouldn’t take up any visual weight in my bathroom – enter the two-tiered acrylic stand.
It can also work on your nightstand, office or pantry.
TUESDAY GOODIES #121
Pet Hair Remover | You really needed to see the video to appreciate how well this pet hair remover works. You simply run it over the surface you want to clean and then empty the chamber when it gets full.
My black cat sheds so much on her blanket, but this pet hair remover makes it a cinch to clean. And, you never have to replace it like you do with the paper pet hair roller.
Makeup Bag | OMG, this bag holds SO MUCH! With four slip pockets and an inner zipper pocket. Then it zippers closed into a small pouch with a convenient carrying handle.
Bath Towels | My mom got me these bath towels from Walmart and I like them so much that I just bought two more for my bathroom and a couple of the blue ones for my son’s room.
They are super absorbent from the first use, machine wash well and are so pretty with great texture.
Body Wash | The Olay body wash smells great, is moisturizing, inexpensive and you can buy it at the drugstore, grocery store or Amazon. I buy it in bulk on Amazon and it even looks good in my shower and has an easy functioning pump.
Magnetic Measuring Spoons | Y’all, these magnetic measuring spoons are so cool because they magnet together to keep them tidy and space saving. Plus, my old eyes really appreciate the easy-to-read label.
They have a round side and oval side to make it easy to scoop from narrow spice jars. Bonus, it also comes with a ruled leveler.
Clip On Strainer | This rubber strainer simply clips onto your pot so that you can strain your pasta or veggies without a big collender. It takes up less space in your cabinet and makes clean up a breeze.
Cast Iron Handle Cover | I recently bought a cast iron pan and it’s been a game changer for searing meat and fish. I really like the silicone handle cover that protects your hand from the super hot handle.
You get a pack of two and they protect from up to 475 degrees.
Cast Iron Skillet (under $20)
TUESDAY GOODIES #121
Kropt Band (HONEY10 for 10% off) Y’all! I couldn’t wait to share this genius fashion product with you! If you struggle with the ‘front tuck’ this is for you!! It’s a total game changer!
You wear the Kropt band under your clothes, then tuck your skirt under it and pull it out to flatten. It’s SO MUCH more flattering than the sloppy front tuck.
Striped Top (on sale)
Water Bottle | Oh hello cute water bottle. I like to tuck this one into my bag when I’m on the go. It keeps your water super cold and doesn’t spill! Comes in more cool colors too.
Striped Pillow Cases | These darling striped pillow covers from Amazon look great on my sofa in the living room. They come in a pack of two and are really well made. I like how they go with decor year round and are easy to mix and match with other pillows.
Lint Roller | This little ball lint roller really works, especially on clothes. It’s super tacky so it get up every piece of lint, but you simply run it under the faucet to clean and then you can reuse it. It’s compact size makes it easy to keep in your bag or travel with.
St Tropez Sandals | Yay for sandal weather! This pair is so cute and they come in other destinations & colors. They’re flat and comfy, fitting TTS.
TUESDAY GOODIES #120
Crossbody Bag | I like how easily this crossbody bag can go from dressy to casual. It’s on the smaller side, so perfect for carrying essentials and the striped crossbody strap is so sporty!
Slides | These slides have been a go-to lately. They are super comfy and easy to wear. I slip them on with shorts and jeans and they perfect for the pool too.
Fruit/Veggie Storage Saver | These BPA free storage containers come in a set of three and I’ve been so impressed with how fresh they keep my fruit and veggies. Plus, they come with a convenient strainer option and and filter tray at the bottom to elevate food from moisture. No more wasted food!
Woven Stair Bin | This woven stair bin gave us more room on our stairs since it’s narrow with two tiers. I throw in things that need to go upstairs, instead of piling them directly onto the stairs. The bin has carrying handles and it looks nice there.
Decorative Bowls | These decorative bowls are handmade stone wear and I currently have them in my living room on top of a stack of books as decor. You could use them in your bathroom, kitchen or bedroom to hold things or as an accent piece.
TUESDAY GOODIES #119
Paperbag Waist Pants | Y’all know my love of these paper bag waist pants runs deep. But now they are out in fun new colors for Spring and Summer. They fit TTS, I wear XS
Backpack | Pretty and functional. I originally bought this backpack to take on Spring Break, but since then it’s been so handy for at ballgames and track meets. It also holds a laptop and comes with a UBS port. It has an additional front zipper pocket, two side pockets, a luggage strap, and cushiony back straps.
Charger | I love this charger and it’s saved me many a times when my phone died while traveling. It’s compact and slim and you charge it by plugging into a wall outlet, which is so nice not to have any additional cords to deal with.
It’s also universal for all cell phones and comes with a carrying case.
Purse | I’m so smitten with this darling purse. It comes in such fun colors and is easy to hold on your holder or hand, but also comes with a crossbody strap. It’s really well made and looks like something you’d see in a department store. The lavender is on my list next!
Illuminating Tinted Eye Cream | This new illuminating tinted eye cream from Colleen Rothschild gives you a beautiful brightness and younger looking appearance to your under eye area. It helps perk up tired eyes and helps conceal darkness, fine lines, puffiness and dryness.
Thong Underwear | Oh yes, we’re going there because friends don’t keep friends in the dark about good undies! This pair is perfect for workouts and under leggings because they are sporty and perforated so very breathable!
There’s a reason these have over 54,000 positive reviews ladies! I sized up to a Medium.
I’m already looking forward to tomorrow so I can share my latest goodies with you! Join my on Instagram Stories!
