While we’ve been at home I decided to finally give our upstairs bathroom a little refresh! It’s a small space that serves all of us and was due for a face lift. I’ve been posting about it on my Instagram and the feedback has been so fun! Maybe I should share some more home updates? I thought I’d share a little collage of our plans and go into detail about what we did. When it’s all said and done I’ll be sure to share a full before/after reveal because it already feels like the biggest difference!
Our biggest challenge was a medicine cabinet that was a very specific size and tough to find a updated/fresh alternative. Dave found a way that we could attach a new mirror to the current medicine cabinet (after removing the mirror) but when the mirror came in (which had to be a specific size to fit in the space) it ended up being too heavy. SO we ended up completely removing the medicine cabinet and using this mirror on the wall. With the bead board trim we had to have a 20″ W exactly so had to work with what we had! I love how simple this mirror is and it’s height really opens up the room! Such a big difference.s
The bathroom used to be turquoise from the previous owners and we decided to freshen it up using Benjamin Moore Classic Gray. I can’t tell you how much bigger and brighter this small space feels!
We ordered this double sconce which is currently 20% off + FREE SHIPPING from McGee & Co.!
Finally, another big difference is switching out all of our hardware for these matte black styles. They are a little backordered but I can’t wait until they arrive. It’s totally going to transform our dated and basic vanity.
I then ordered some fun decor details like this floor mat, this shower curtain, this fun little sign to put above our new towel bar and this marble toothbrush holder. I can’t wait for everything to arrive!

PS: In case you missed it, I shared a collage to help inspire your outdoor space! And if you’d like to see other rooms in our house I’ve done posts about that too:

*I need to share our bedroom + our living room next!
