My parents both grew up on the coast, and are big time beach lovers, so our home was always filled with a subtle modern coastal decor style when I was growing up. This style has been petty much engrained in my bones and I have always loved crisp white colors, mixed with grey and navy. So, it’s no secret that I am drawn to all things Serena & Lily.
Serena & Lily combines a casual and relaxed style, with coastal undertones and has a blend of classic, yet modern pieces. I love the subtle colors and design elements they incorporate into their pieces. They are just so unique and promote a relaxed atmosphere. I absolutely love everything about their style. On top of that, they just produce very high quality pieces.
We have their Soho Duvet Bedding Collection in fog and in navy paired with the Beach Sheet Set for our master bedroom. We also have their Napa Bath Collection in Fog paired with the Guerneville Bath Rug. And, we have their Palomino Alpaca Throw and their Palermo Cotton Throw, as well as, some beautiful throw pillows and pillows that go with our bedding collection. But, by far my favorite collection is the Serena & Lily Dip-Dyed items. I just have such a love for classic pieces that are versatile.
Serena & Lily Dip-Dyed Collection
Their dip-dyed collection features items across several genres including tabletop items, decor pieces, stools and more. I love the natural wood paired with the white dip the best, however, they also offer navy and grey in some items that are adorable as well.
Serena & Lily Dip-Dyed Cake Stand
My first Serena & Lily Dip-Dyed item to purchase was their large cake stand and it has quickly become a staple piece in our house. It can be used as a cake stand or even for other foods like a charcuterie board set up. While it makes an excellent serving piece, in our house, it also doubles as a decor piece for our island. It is home to our candle, coasters, a vase and our salt and pepper shakers. It makes a great statement piece for the island and I just love the natural wood and white contrast. Honestly, this piece alone sets the tone of our kitchen and I love how crisp and clean it looks.
Plus, I love adding festive seasonal pieces to it that create a very classic look. For example, during Christmas, I add in glitter trees to really bring more life to it. I also add in Easter eggs for Spring, or different colored flowers. The possibilities are endless and its so much fun to re-decorate for each season.
Serena & Lily Dip-Dyed Stool
Quickly after purchasing the dip-dyed cake stand, we purchased the dip-dyed stool. My favorite aspect about the dip-dyed stool is the versatility. It has had many different homes in our house and I love moving it around. I have used it in our bathroom by our tub to hold our candle and a bath towel. I have also used it in our kitchen as a plant stand and for seasonal decor. And, it often ends up in my closet as a place holder for my handbag. My kids also love to drag it around the house and use it as an actual stool at their table and in our bathroom. Basically, it’s had a home in every room in our house. Its so multipurpose and such a great piece.
I have also used it for festive decor as well throughout the house. Its just such a pretty piece and so well made. You can tell the stool is sturdy enough to use as a stool, but yet, so elegant that it’s easily used as a crisp decor piece. I would buy this stool over and over again. It’s such a great piece.
Other Serena & Lily Dip-Dyed Items
I have absolutely loved owning both of my Serena & Lily Dip-Dyed items and I have two more items on my wish list! I have had my eye on the Poetto Vase that doesn’t technically have “dip-dyed” in the title, but it is the same exact “dip-dyed” style. I have a similar vase without the dip-dye and just love that style, so I have really been wanting the Poetto Vase. This will 100% be the next Serena & Lily item we own.
I have also had my eye on the dip-dyed handle server. We absolutely love hosting and this is a great hosting piece. I feel like this would be great for having people over, or even as a decor piece for our kitchen. Honestly, my favorite aspect about these Serena & Lily pieces is that they are so multi-purpose. They are functional, yet chic for decor purposes.
Overall, I would highly recommend any of the Serena & Lily Dip-Dyed pieces, because they are so functional, yet classic for decor pieces. I have loved owning each of them and they fit perfectly in our house. You really can’t go wrong with anything from Serena & Lily, I have absolutely loved everything we have bought from them.
